    Nantucket Island is far removed from the maddening crowd. Its an hour or two off the coast of Cape Code depending on which ferry you take. It's also relatively easy to get there by air. If you are looking for a place that is as beautiful as it is refreshing - Nantucket is your place. There's history, places to stay, marvelous restaurants, fishing, surfing, sailing and sights that your eyes will just love.

  • Ameilia Island Florida

    Ameilia Island meets the definition of an island in the sense it is surrounded by water, but to get there you just have to drive across the bridge. Its' restaurants, shops, bike paths, and pleasant views of the Atlantic make this a top visit choice. Looking forward to going back.

    This North Atlantic Island country found in the north Atlantic to the east of Greenland. Iceland has a population 318,452 and a relatively temperate climate given its northern latitude. It's a land with over 10,000 waterfalls, 15 active volcanoes, and glaciers that cover 1/9 of its surface. It's capital Reykjavik is famous for it's vibrant nightlife and many stores. Underground geo-thermal currents provide heated water for recreational pools and as energy source to heat a majority of the countries homes. Iceland is within five hours by air of the US's east coast and is part of the European Union.
